Open Water Diver (OWD)

Duration: 4–5 Days

Prerequisites: None (Must be comfortable in the water)

Certification: SSI Open Water Diver (Valid worldwide down to 18 meters)

The Open Water Diver course is your ticket to the underwater world.

If you have never tried scuba diving before but are ready to explore the world of silence, peace this is where it begins - in Marsa Alam.

At 3WILL, individual attention and uncompromising safety are our top priorities.

Theory & Core Concepts:

Step 1

Learn the basic physics, physiology, and safety rules of diving through flexible digital learning and classroom reviews.

You will master the essentials before ever entering the water.

Confined Water Training:

Step 2

Take your first breaths on scuba in the safety of a swimming pool or protected, shallow bay.

Here, you will practice essential skills, gear handling, and buoyancy until they feel like second nature.

Open Water Dives:

Step 3

The real adventure begins!

Over the course of 4 ocean dives, you will apply your skills in the crystal-clear waters of Marsa Alam, exploring real coral reefs alongside your instructor.

Final Exam & Global Certification:

Step 4

Complete a quick final test to verify your knowledge.

Upon passing, you receive your digital C-Card, permitting you to dive with a buddy anywhere across the globe.
