Marsa Samadai
Location: 7 km south of Marsa Alam
Depth: 0–30 meters
Min. Certification: Open Water Diver (OWD)
The Experience:
A large, sheltered sandy bay with an easy shore entry.
As you glide across the peaceful seagrass meadow, you will discover stunning coral blocks bursting with marine life.
Keep an eye out for resident sea turtles, rays, and passing schools of barracudas.
Marsa Assalaya
Location: 8 km north of Marsa Alam
Depth: 0–50 meters
Min. Certification: Open Water Diver (OWD)
The Experience:
Features a smooth, sandy bottom and effortless entry.
The seagrass meadow slopes gently down toward magnificent, colorful reefs.
One reef crests beautifully at 28 meters, while the outer wall drops to 50 meters.
This bay is a favorite hotspot for grazing dugongs!
Marsa Egla
Location: 10km nouth of Marsa Alam
Depth: 0–35 meters
Min. Certification: Open Water Diver (OWD)
The Experience:
A long, picturesque lagoon boasting striking azure waters and a gentle slope. Both sides of the bay are bordered by flourishing fringing reefs. It is a macro and wildlife paradise where you can spot seahorse, octopus, turtles, rays, and dugong.
Gebel Rosas
Location: 16 km north of Marsa Alam
Depth: 0–60 meters
Min. Certification: Open Water Diver (OWD)
The Experience:
A dramatic, narrow lagoon. The left reef wall is exceptionally rich and lively, offering frequent encounters with sea turtles and reef sharks down to 60 meters. The right side features a unique, serrated reef structure honeycombed with small, safe caverns to explore.
Abu Dabbab Bay
Location: 30 km north of Marsa Alam
Depth: 0–30 meters

The Experience:
One of Egypt's most famous bays. It features a massive underwater sea meadow where giant green sea turtles and rare dugongs regularly graze. The northern side features a breathtaking, pristine coral garden.
Abu Dabour
Location: 31 km nouth of Marsa Alam

The Experience:
An adventurous dive starting through an entry canyon at 5 meters. Emerging from the canyon reveals magnificent, towering reef scenery and deep walls where pelagic, big-fish action is common.
Shaab Shuuna
Location: 41 km north of Marsa Alam

Giant reefs border both sides of this stunning location. The adventure begins with an entry through a natural, shallow rock pool that guides you through a small canyon onto the main reef line.
Canyon No. 1

The Experience:
For those seeking something unique! Entry involves a 150-meter walk across the reef flat followed by a descent through a small, exciting cave. This slightly challenging entry rewards you with a jaw-dropping coral garden vibrant with color and a dramatic drop-off wall.
Abu Ghusun Wreck (MV Hamada)
Location: 43 km north of Marsa Alam
Depth: 0–60 meters

The Experience:
Explore a 46-meter-long cargo vessel that sank close to shore in 1993. Now acting as a vibrant artificial reef, it is covered in hard and soft corals, attracting giant napoleon wrasses and moray eels. Certified divers can safely penetrate the wheelhouse, cargo holds, and engine room.
