To earn your Advanced Open Water Diver rating, you choose 4 individual Specializations and complete 24 logged dives. This unlocks deeper sites, night dives, and unique environments worldwide.

Deep Diving
Safely explore breathtaking walls and deep landscapes down to 40 meters. Learn air consumption management and deep dive planning.
Enriched Air Nitrox
Stay down longer! Learn how to use gas mixes with up to 40% oxygen to extend your no-decompression limits and feel less fatigued.
Wreck Diving
Unlock history. Learn how to safely navigate, evaluate, and enjoy historic shipwrecks without disturbing the site.
Perfect Buoyancy
Master your body position, reduce your air consumption, extend your dive times, and protect fragile coral reefs.
Navigation
Never get lost. Master underwater compass patterns, distance estimation, and natural navigation tracking.
Night and Limited Visibility
Watch the reef come alive after dark. See completely different nocturnal creatures using specialized lighting and communication techniques.
Diver Stress and Rescue
